“Ang kalampusan sa Cagayan de Oro kinahanglan dili lang mag sumikad sa atong kaugalingong kalampusan kundili ang kalampusan pud sa atong mga silingan, dili lang gihapon nagsumikad sa kalampusan nila kundili naa gihapon tabang gikan sa kalampusan sa Cagayan de Oro,” Moreno said explaining the “symbiotic-relationship” that the city gets from the neighboring places in Northern Mindanao.

“The success of one contributes to the success of the other”, and “the failure of one can certainly affect the others as well,” he added.

Cagayan de Oro, as a leading city in the region wherein DOST-X is located, continues to do its duties and responsibilities with other government sectors. The city continually carries on the inspiration driven by the country’s determined plans, and proving what Mayor Moreno said that “solidarity must be strengthened with compassion.”

DOST-X annually observes the Charter Day celebration as it continually offers services to those who are in need regardless of their religion, tribe or race.

“Let’s work together and bring about a much better Cagayan de Oro, a much progressive Cagayan de Oro!” – Moreno
